skiing again :D
yep. went for another skiing weekend. this time at indiana, this place called perfect north slopes.
it was BLOODY WARM. look at that. there’s no snow anywhere else except on the ski slopes. it’s really the start of the end of the skiing season. lol. it was 17 deg celsius on the 2nd day! i was actually feeling warm in juz my adidas jacket and a pullover. a HUGE difference compared to the trip to devil’s head. not that i’m complaining. hahahahha. the snow wasn’t all that great tho. it was kinda slushy in some places and they didn’t groom the slopes properly i guess. there were lots of bumps, not very big, but enough to send me flying juz a bit when i went over them.
OH YEAH and there was this freaking steep slope that should be a black diamond posing as an intermediate blue slope!!! ok first i didn’t turn fast enough and i went totally off the trail. damm lucky i crashed into this pole, if not i would have juz tumbled right off the slope into oblivion. and i didn’t dare to move for a few min cos i was in a really precarious position and skis are not exactly the best things to be attached to ur feet when u wanna stand up properly. in the end this like 10 year old kid stopped and asked if i needed help. omg. somehow manage to get the skis off and passed it to the kid and crawled up the edge of the trail. and i haven’t even gotten to the best part yet. after i’ve gone down half the trail, i realised the second half was practically a CLIFF. like an 80 degrees incline. and that was like the SECOND slope i went up on the FIRST day, thinking it was a harmless blue trail. wth. i almost didn’t make it down alive.

stopped by this place for dinner on the way back with the cutest burgers. they’re like really MINI. hahhah. the guys were scary man. they ate like 10 each or something. except for poor zj la, who cannot eat beef =/ LOL
it’s amazing how a 3 hour drive east can increase the temperature like almost 20 deg celsius.

going skiing again this weekend! yep. it’s still cold enough to go skiing. zzz. might as well make use of the cold. probably wun get the chance again for a long looooong time. heh.

i miss wearing slippers/shorts/3quarts/skirt to school. and my white winter jacket is like turning grey alr. oops
i drove yc’s car yest from sherman hall to my place. muahahhah. the first time i wanted to signal right, i turned on the windshield wipers. cos the signal lights switch is on the left, not the right. diaooooo. and my parallel parking FAIL. i even kissed the butt of the car in front of me. =x
oh ya. the gal in step up 2 is damm HOT. wahahah

cny!
not too bad a cny i guess. lots of chinese food, drinks, nua-ing, bridge… i juz about polished off yc’s entire tin of pineapple tarts. muahahah. got to eat some vacuum-packed bak kwa from bee cheng hiang too. i’m contented =/ OH and i discovered this damm nice peanut butter chocolate thingy here called REESE. it’s the best thing america came up with man. seriously.
of course i still miss bai nian-ing and mahjong-ing and all the other cny goodies. but OH WELL. i still had fun. heh
RETAIL THERAPY: blew $118 in 2hrs on forever 21 stuff at the mall here yesterday. it’s like even bigger than the one at vivo i think. and it’s cheaper too, even tho it’s not a factory outlet. wheeeeeeee
I WANNA TEAR OUT MY BLOODY DOOR. it juz won’t stop making creepy creaking noises!!!!!!!! ughh

cold, wet and foggy
ok. it’s actually not that cold. i actually felt warm outside today hahah. but warm, wet and foggy juz sounds wrong.
the snow is melting. which is NOT GOOD. it’s flooding everywhere ugh. and the nice fluffy snow is turning into grey slush. which juz adds on to the overall depressing mood o.O
i wanna go home for cny!!

never drank so much in my entire life. it was like, wad, 10 shots? couldn’t really walk straight after that. hate the feeling of not being in control of urself. i’m juz glad i din puke. dunno why the hell some ppl like to get drunk o.O
somehow managed to change and get my contacts off before collapsing into bed. as i lay there, i juz suddenly really really really missed him.

my ah tiong tutor is so sad. only like 6 out of 30 ppl turned up for his thurs discussion section. actually if the class was my last class for the day i would’ve have ponned and gone home early =/ HAHAH. had chicken rice for dinner yest, thanks to sheryl and shaun. makes me miss sg food even more!! wad would i give to have some bak chor mee now. hahah. biz career fair was a waste of time. only internships availabe were for audit and tax. like NO THANKS. been watching heart of greed on crunchyroll. it’s addictive man. feel like slapping that ah kam!! and tong yan kai is sooooooo DUMB keep believing her. goodness. hmph
oh well. better get started on my assignments. BYE.

first pon of the semester
skipped my math lecture today. hahah. gotta settle my pa application. bah.
i’m damm pissed off at the careerfit website. i thot i had alr submitted my resume but apparently NOT. zzz. fine. so i go and do it all over again. then after entering every single field on the page, it still doesn’t allow me to click the save button!! wtf.
had to borrow formal wear to go to the biz career fair tml. din bring any from sg =/ trying my luck at getting an internship here. although the probability is damm low. hahah. seriously can’t stand all this resume and cover letter and interview stuff. it seems so pretentious. but OH WELL. it’s inevitable. live with it.
went iceskating on sat. there’s actually an ice rink on campus. and it’s dirt cheap. juz one buck for skate rental. in sg it’s seventeen freaking dollars. and their skates are quite up man. the rink is much bigger too. forgot to bring my cam tho. so no photos hahahah. then went to a salsa club at night. the ppl there can really dance! woohoo. i can juz sit there and watch them all night. obviously, i can’t dance for nuts. HAHAH. it really rocks to have a car man.

if u’ve never heard of it, it’s something like walmart. hahahah. that’s pretty much everything there is to shop around here. but i’m still amazed at the variety of stuff they sell over here. they have like. 20 different flavours of campbell soup? and ten thousand different cereals. they have honey bunches of oats with chocolate and with vanilla! hahah. and a whole bunch of stuff that u can juz dump in the microwave.
went to some pizza party by the college of business in the afternoon. it’s like for current exchange students, uiuc students who went abroad to study, and uiuc students who are thinking of gg abroad to study to meet up. i’m surprised that anyone would actually wanna come ntu for exchange o.O like, WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY THINKING???!?! but wellllllll. can’t say anything like that, obviously. hahah. oh well. at least i saved some money on lunch =/ muahahah. i think i’m getting influenced by zj. that guy’s so thrifty that he goes anywhere that has free food and only buys stuff that are on promotion. he actually hun4 into the pizza party even tho he’s from engineering. hahhh
